Marshall Jay Kaplan
Marshall Jay Kaplan (born July 24, 1965) is a Gemini Award nominated senior television producer, director, and host. His career is recognized for producing and directing a wide range of factual television shows that have appeared on top speciality channels across North America including TLC, HGTV and the Food Network. He is also known as a creator, executive producer and host of the celebrity-based show on Reelz, ''Totally Tracked Down''.
== Early life, family and education ==
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Marshall was an art student in high school, but attended the University of Toronto where he graduated with a double degree in microbiology and biochemistry. Although he graduated with top marks, it was Marshall’s love of television that made him follow is heart and make a career out of his passion.
